Microbiology
Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms, such as bacteria, viruses, archaea, fungi and protozoa. Antibiotic Sensitivity and culture studies : Culture study is the primary method used for isolating infectious disease. Tissue or fluid samples are tested for the presence of a specific pathogen, which is determined by growth in a selective or differential medium. Antibiotic sensitivity analysis used for determining the “sensitivity” of bacteria to an antibiotic. It also determines the ability of the drug to kill the bacteria.
